got the jist, now tweaking time

I have finally decided the general shape/ idea for my lantern.  I am going to connect strips of paper together connected in the middle.  Now comes the decision of how to arrange the strips, how to connect the shapes if i want to hang more than one together, how to hang them, and how to illuminate all three.....decision, decisions.  here are some testers (these are what will ultimately be grouped together in the end)...

cut outs, dont like shape but would look cool with the light inside

i like the idea of numerous strips connecting together to make the shape

love the origami feel of these with the accent flowers

i like the doiley, i htink this would look cool if the strips on the edges were curved up and met at the top
